AUNTIE BRIGITTE'S QUICK MACARONS


INGREDIENTS 

For around fifteen little macarons
 1 egg white
 125g of sugar
 125g of almond powder
 Vanilla extract or a zest of lemon
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 180°. Whisk one egg white with 125g of sugar until the mixture
whitens . Add 125g of almond powder and mix again. Add the vanilla or the lemon.
With wet hands, make little dough balls between your palms. Put these little dough
balls and gently press them on the baking tray , covered with baking paper .
Bake for 15 minutes to 180°. Cool  the macarons before eating them.

PIZZA-BURGER FROM THE CUPBOARD

Pizza-burger du placard


 2 burger buns
 a tin of tomato sauce
 1 grated cheese or mozzarella or cheese leftovers
 60g of cubed ham (or bacon, or tuna...)
 2 mushrooms (or peppers (=poivrons) ...)
 6 olives, oregano powder
INSTRUCTIONS
Cut in half the burger buns.
Spread the tomato sauce on the buns.
Add the grated cheese cut in little pieces, the cubed ham, a few slices of mushroom, some
olives and a pinch of oregano.
Bake in the oven to 200° for 15 minutes until the cheese melts.
Serve warm with salad.

SPANISH TORTILLA

Tortilla espagnole

INGREDIENTS For 3-4 people
 500g of potatoes
 olive oil
 aromatic herbs
 5 eggs
 2 small onions
INSTRUCTIONS
Finely slice the onions and the potatoes. Thinly slice the herbs.
Put everything in a salad bowl and add some salt.
Heat a good amount of olive oil (almost 1 cm) in a frying pan. Pour the mixture in
the frying pan.
Cook for around 10 minutes, and stir from time to time.
Break the eggs into a bowl and beat with a fork.
Drain the potatoes, herbs and onions. Remove the remaining olive oil but leave the equivalent of a tablespoon to cook the omelette.
Heat the frying pan, pour the mixture and the eggs.
Wait for 5 minutes and make it slide on a plate . Then put the frying pan on the
omelette and turn it to cook the other side. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Eat warm or cold !

SMARTIES COOKIES

Cookies aux smarties

INGREDIENTS FOR 20 COOKIES
 70g of soft butter
 1 egg
 120g of sugar
 200g of flour
 1/2 sachet of yeast
 100g of Smarties© (or chocolate chips, nuts, …)
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 180°. 

In a salad bowl, mix the soft butter and the sugar with a fork.

Add the egg and mix. 

Pour the flour and the yeast, and mix everything.

Crush half the Smarties and add them to the dough.
Make balls, gently press them and put them on the baking tray, covered with baking paper.
Put them in the oven for 10 minutes maximum.
Put the rest of the Smarties on the cookies and gently sink them.
